One of the many special beauties of living here is the accessibility to flowers typically only found in florist shops in the States. For just a couple dollars, I can buy a bunch of long stemmed white calla lilies for the square glass vase in my living room. Over the last couple of years, Joel and I have collected colored sea glass (the remains of broken bottles that have been worn down by the ocean’s waves and washed onto the beach) so I filled a vase with my lilies and sea glass as a centerpiece. How cool is that?
