Sometimes I get the impression that this is what you may be envisioning when you think of us at language school.
While that does exist in Costa Rica, this picture perfect oasis was a taxi, 3 buses, a ferry and a 4WD ride through (not over) 3 rivers to get there. After our 8 hour exhausting journey, it really was quite a refreshing break from the city.
But this is more accurate picture of our daily grind.
Don’t get me wrong; it’s awesome to be here!
We still get amazing coffee every day.
We have challenging classes that push us to learn Spanish…with correct grammar and pronunciation!
We’re here together.
And we have a hammock on our patio for those afternoon naps when classes are over!
