I’m not sure if it’s the fact that most of our food was imported (my parents sent pumpkin from the States so I could make 2 pies!), or what exactly made it taste so great, but we were very thankful to have a real Thanksgiving dinner with nearly all of our local friends here.
In fact, the crowd of “invitees” got so large that we had to have it our friends’ restaurant! (Thankfully, they were closed for the day!)
And we finished off almost all the food!
We really do have so much for which to be thankful. It was a wonderful day. And who gets to top off Thanksgiving dinner with a beach afternoon with friends?
Of course, the day isn’t complete without a little car trouble. No matter what, it’s fun with friends. 🙂
