The anticipation in the car was palpable, so we pulled over and went down to the river for a few moments to pray and collect our thoughts (well, Joel’s thoughts). He was scheduled to speak in the church’s morning service and the task of getting his ideas across in two different languages was a bit overwhelming. Thankfully, he had studied his topic for many weeks and knew what he wanted to say … how to say it was the question!
from joel:
Not for the faint of heart. For those brave souls who are interested in a long-winded message, I taught last Sunday on the glory of God in the doctrine of regeneration. I would value your feedback from those of you who make it all the way through. I am confident you will find some parts entertaining, other parts challenging. But in the end, I pray God is glorified.
