Greetings from the Kansas City airport. With about 300 fewer pounds of luggage, we’re starting to feel light and focused…..on things like getting breakfast! We spent New Year’s Eve in a hotel by the airport, but the anticipation of this morning and the 4 a.m. wakeup call kept sleep at bay. No worries, though, we’re running on adrenaline and excitement. January 1, 2007, is finally here and we’re on our way to language school!!!
